This past October Salesforce, an American cloud computing company headquartered in San Francisco, California, held its annual Dreamforce conference where thought leaders, industry pioneers, and thousands of Salesforce users come together for four high-energy days of fun, inspiration, learning, networking, and giving back. This year, GroupOne Health Source's CEO, Arun Murali, took the stage speaking about the impact Salesforce has had on the company's customer experience and overall success.
Over 171,000 people, from 83 countries, registered to attend the largest gathering of Customer Trailblazers in San Francisco this year. Dreamforce 2016 was one to remember with 25+ keynotes, 3,300 breakout and theater sessions, and featured world-class speakers: Melinda Gates, Robin Roberts, Tony Robbins, Marc Cuban, Chris Sacca, will.i.am, Shahrzad Rafati, Billie Jean King, Rep. John Lewis, Lilly Ledbetter, the Kelly Brothers, U2 & 20 monastics from Plum Village.
GroupOne CEO Arun Murali took the stage on Day 4 of Dreamforce to discuss how GroupOne's revenue cycle management service has enabled health care providers to focus more on the delivery of care and less on managing their revenue cycle.
Murali touched on some of the challenges that physicians are facing today during the Dreamforce interview. "The state of healthcare these days has made it even more important for physicians to really focus on their patients and make sure they are providing affordable care," said Murali. "It's even more important now for companies like ours to be able to support them [physicians] on the business side of what they do and provide that expertise to help make them effective."
With the recent implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Communities, GroupOne has not only become more efficient, but has also begun the launch of a customer portal.
"We were able to use the communities on the partner side and on the client side which is something we're really excited about," continued Murali. The customer community, which is set to launch in Q1 of 2017, is expected to deliver a number of efficiencies to customers through the use of a self-serve knowledge base and real-time communication.
Murali continued to describe some of the recent changes taking place at GroupOne to assist physicians with becoming more efficient with their back office processes while enhancing its clients' financial outcomes. These changes include the implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Communities.
But with these changes also comes news challenges. With more information coming into Salesforce each day, GroupOne is tasked with harnessing the data and interpreting it to build an effortless experience for every customer; something Murali is confident the company will be able to achieve in the near future.
